Xpressdor manufactures and installs security gates, burglar bars, security doors, trellis doors and garage doors across the Cape Town metro. We fabricate at our own premises at 67 Main Road, Diep River, and our own installation teams do every fit — we do not subcontract.
Because every job is measured on site, what we build changes with the housing stock. A long-span burglar bar for a Tokai aluminium window is a different fabrication from a removable bar for a Wynberg sash window. The pages below set out what we most often install in each area.

Diep River
Our home suburb and workshop. Fastest turnaround in the metro — most Diep River jobs are measured and quoted the same week.
Claremont
A mix of apartment blocks and Victorian semi-detached homes. The most common Claremont requests are slam lock gates on ground-floor flat entrances, and removable burglar bars on original sash and casement windows where a fixed bar would block the only escape route.

Constantia
Large properties with long driveway frontage, and often timber or stone facades where heavy steel would look wrong. Most Constantia work is wide sliding driveway gates and slimline bar profiles chosen to stay visually discreet on big window openings.

Tokai
Freestanding family homes, wide aluminium window spans and stacking patio doors. Tokai jobs usually need longer unsupported spans than standard stock bars allow, and double-track trellis systems across patio openings that a single swing gate cannot cover.

Wynberg
Older housing stock, narrower street frontage and original door frames. Standard-size gates frequently will not fit a Wynberg opening without altering the frame, so most of our Wynberg work is custom-width trellis and made-to-measure gates built to the existing aperture.
